When it was time for them to move into their new Wood Street office, the brief was clear: create a space that doesn’t just look good, but brings people together, sparks ideas and feels like the beating heart of the city.

So that’s exactly what we did. A full commercial fit‑out and office refit, and they now have a space that says: “Come in. Get comfy. Let’s build something brilliant for Wakefield.”

We worked closely with the BID team to understand how they work, who they welcome and what the space needed to achieve. Then we designed it to support connection, creativity and community – because great places don’t happen by accident.

• Smart furniture choices to maximise comfort and flow

• Brand‑aligned finishes that subtly (and tastefully) nod to the BID’s identity

• A welcoming front‑of‑house – because first impressions matter

Why the Pink Sofa?

Pink isn’t just a colour, it’s a mood. In colour psychology, pink is associated with creativity, warmth and optimism… all things Wakefield BID brings to the city.

Opening the Doors

The space launched in style, with breakfast, networking, ribbon‑cutting vibes courtesy of the Mayor, and three separate events throughout the day so everyone could get a peek.

Bonus feature: a bookable meeting room for BID members – because supporting local business shouldn’t stop at the front door.
